What’s Michael Bloomberg up to today? According to the Wall Street Journal, he’s writing a book called Do the Hard Things First (And Other Bloomberg Rules for Business and Politics, to be published later this year by Vanguard Press. The billionaire Democrat-turned-Republican-turned-Independent will donate all proceeds from the book to the World Trade Center memorial foundation. NYMag.com hopes that “there's a chapter on how to say ‘No’ for months (when people ask you, say, about running for president) but get the point across that you really mean ‘Yes.’” It’s the Mayor’s second book since his 1997 biography, which critics actually liked. Earlier this month, he wrote his very first poem.
