On the ten-year anniversary of his role as host of Late Night, Conan O'Brien likened his experience to "a Bataan Death March that ended at a Dairy Queen: ... long, arduous, difficult, but ultimately happy and refreshing." "College Dropout Jimmy Fallon Secures Conan O’Brien’s Gig,” sniffs Jossip, apparently in denial that most comedians didn’t attend Harvard.
Fallon was Variety’s odds-on favorite to replace O’Brien, who in turn is slated to take Jay Leno’s job at the Tonight Show next year.
