Richard Garrett, 90

Professions: Had a family-owned dentistry practice in Glens Falls, New York; practiced with his father at the beginning of his career and with his son at the end; member of the Upper Hudson Dental Society, the Dental Society of the State of New York and the American Dental Association; 1st lieutenant and medical officer in World War II.

Degrees: Graduated from St. Lawrence University, 1935; D.M.D. from Harvard Dental School, 1939.

Passions: Fishing on Lake George, near his family’s summer home in Pilot Knob, New York.

Death: July 9, 2006 at Fort Hudson Nursing Center in Fort Hudson, New York.
