Peter Seton Heller, 80

Professions: Corporate lawyer and managing partner at Webster and Sheffield for 40 years; chamber music composer; philanthropist; director of the Equitable Life Assurance Society from 1986 to 1990; overseer of Harvard College; president of the Harvard Club of New York; vice president of the Associated Harvard Alumni; vice president and trustee at the Brearley School; served the Public Education Association and Radcliffe College; vice president of the board and trustee of the New York Philharmonic; a director of the American Composers Orchestra; trustee and vice chairman of the St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital Center; former chairman of the Board of Trustees of the St. Luke's-Roosevelt Institute for Health Science; former Chairman of the Advisory Committee of the Kathryn and Gilbert Miller Health Care Institute for Performing Artists.

Degrees: LL.B. Harvard, 1952; A.B. Harvard, 1948.

Death: October 21, 2006 at his home in New York City.
