Professions: Taught history in Waltham, Mass., and at Wissahickon High School in Montgomery County; taught special education at Springfield Middle School in Montgomery County; volunteered at the McCall School in Philadelphia and in the environmental-education program in Robbins Park in Upper Dublin; taught English as a Second Language for the Willow Grove Literacy Council.
Degrees: M.A.T. Radcliffe, 1961; bachelor's degree, Smith College.
Passions: Reading, crossword puzzles, swimming, tennis, sailing.
Death: September 19, 2006 at Abington Memorial Hospital, Abington, PA.
