  • Big Shots
    ABC
    (Thursdays, 10PM)

    The show follows the lives of four CEOs who belong to the same country club, including HBS grad Brody Johns (CHRISTOPHER TITUS).

    Because you wish there was a Desperate Housewives from the guys’ perspective, complete with all the drama and sex.

  • Private Practice
    ABC
    (Wednesdays, 9PM)

    Amy Brenneman plays psychiatrist Dr. Violet Turner in this Grey's Anatomy spinoff set in Los Angeles.

    Because you like medical dramas, and there can never be too many.

  • The Rules for Starting Over
    FOX
    (midseason)

    Rashida Jones (Karen on NBC's The Office plays a lawyer on the rebound in this comedy starring Craig Bierko (ABC's Boston Legal).

    Because the opening scene involves a man getting raped by a chimpanzee. Your reaction determines whether or not you'll want to check this one out.

  • K-ville
    FOX
    (Mondays, 9PM)

    Jonathan Lisco is the writer and executive producer of this drama about the New Orleans police department struggling to rebuild after Hurricane Katrina.

    The post-Katrina visuals should make it worth watching at least once.

  • Lost
    ABC
    (midseason)

    Carlton Cuse is an executive producer on Lost, which will enter its fourth season this winter, dealing with an airline crash that left its passengers stranded on a mysterious island in the Pacific.

    Because at some point the show is going to have to start solving the mysteries it has introduced.

  • The Office
    NBC
    (Thursdays, 9PM)

    The staff of the hit comedy includes GREG DANIELS (creator/executive producer), MICHAEL SCHUR (co-executive producer), and B.J. NOVAK (supervising producer, and also plays character Ryan Howard).

    Because it’s the funniest comedy on TV.

  • The Simpsons
    FOX
    (Sundays, 8PM)

    As the show enters its 19th season, The Simpsons writing staff includes alums Al Jean(executive producer), Daniel Chun, Tom Gammill, Dan Greaney, Max Pross, and Matt Warburton.

    Because the show has spawned a website cataloging its Ivy League references, including a cadaver sent to HMS.

  • N.C.I.S.
    CBS
    (Tuesdays, 8PM)

    Nell Scovell is a consulting producer on this series about the Naval Criminal Investigative Service, entering its 5th season

    Because it's this or The Biggest Loser
