02138Cambridge: For Mother’s Day, Make it YO MAMMA!
Composers in Red Sneakers, Inc., a contemporary classical composer organization that has been one of Boston’s leading cultural organizations for a quarter century, is presenting the music of Triton Brass, a brass quintet that includes three Harvard doctorates, Ken Ueno, Peter McMurray, and Lansing McLoskey. This Mother’s Day, the group is suggesting families forego the "lukewarm, crowded brunch, cheesy card and overpriced bouquet of wilted flowers," and instead join them for some "killer new music" in Cambridge.
