Tory Fair, who previously modeled her sculptures on her mother’s garden, has now turned to her grandmother’s decorative paintings for inspiration. From those, Fair has created two room-size rubber sculptures. She places the flower shapes in a grid of football field-like lines, to evoke nature’s competition for space. She will also show six wall pieces.
April 5 at LaMontagne Gallery; 555 E. 2nd St., Boston.
