In 2002, Rice University music professors Anthony Brandt, Karim Al-Zand, and Kurt Stallman founded Musiqa, a contemporary classical music series that presents over 20 concerts a year in Houston. Their last of the season will feature Leila, a piece by Al- Zand, performed by the Enso String Quartet, as well as an original play by Craig Wright.
