Alan Gilbert Conducts the New York Philharmonic

Since being named Music Director Designate of the New York Philharmonic in 2007, Alan Gilbert has conducted operas and orchestras on three continents, including at the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic, his musical home for seven years. This spring, he conducts works by Haydn, Beethoven, and Berio at the venue he’ll lead starting in 2009.
